Waste-to-Energy Plant Extension

As part of an ambitious plan to improve the energy production system efficiency and heat recovery from waste combustion processes, the project involves the construction of new volumes dedicated to hosting water treatment plants, heat pumps, electrical systems and warehouses of an overall area of ​​approximately 7,000 square meters.
The buildings are built in continuity with the existing hill overlooking the A4 motorway, an artificial hill covered by grass, shrubs and plants.
This gives a mitigated image of the new complex towards the city while maintaining adequate functionality towards the inside of the complex: an undulating and grassy artificial hill with a beating heart of energy.
A new cladding screen of the east side of the main volume of the Waste to Energy Plant masks the new plant systems and gives to the complex a more uniform shape.
