Transforming Spaces: S.T.A.I. Project by CREW Cremonesi Workshop Redefines Inclusivity

As the creators and designers behind the innovative S.T.A.I. Project, CREW Cremonesi Workshop is thrilled to announce the upcoming public presentation meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Set to take place at 6:00 PM in the esteemed auditorium of Collegio Lucchini, located at Via Valotti 3 C/D (Europa metro station), this event marks a significant milestone in our collaborative endeavor to enhance accessibility and inclusivity in the Mompiano Valley and Croce Rossa park in our city Brescia.

Our team, led by Technical Director Claudio Turrini and Architect Silvia Raineri, has worked tirelessly alongside esteemed partners such as Professor Alberto Arenghi from the University of Brescia to realize the vision of a 4.6 km circular pedestrian path tailored to accommodate individuals with diverse motor and sensory abilities. Additionally, in partnership with Architect Roberto Bertoli, we have curated sensory and inclusive artworks that will enrich the experience within the park, fostering a sense of connection and engagement among visitors.

At the public meeting, we look forward to sharing insights into the design process, highlighting the innovative features of the pedestrian route, and unveiling the first of many impactful artworks planned for installation. Joining us in this momentous occasion will be esteemed representatives including Deputy Mayor Federico Manzoni, Environment and Parks Councillor Camilla Bianchi, Business and Tourism Councillor Andrea Poli, and Provincial Councillor Roberta Sisti, underscoring the collaborative spirit and shared commitment of all stakeholders involved.

The success of the S.T.A.I. Project is a testament to the power of collaboration and community engagement. Through close partnership with the municipalities of Brescia and Bergamo, the Lombardy Region, the University of Brescia, and local communities, we have co-created spaces that are not only accessible but also reflective of the diverse needs and aspirations of all individuals. This project, funded by the State and the Region, embodies our collective dedication to fostering a more inclusive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

As we prepare to embark on this transformative journey, CREW Cremonesi Workshop extends its heartfelt gratitude to all those who have contributed to the realization of this vision. Together, we are paving the way for a more inclusive future, one step at a time.
