Gefran Headquarters

This project consists in the reuse of an industrial building complex, by its partial demolition and reconstruction.

The site covers and industrial area of 14.500sqm, in the south of Provaglio di Iseo (Brescia).

The project foresees the transformation of the former storage building into the company’s production site, which will include, not only the high-tech production areas, but also the executive,  the administrative and the technical offices.

Subtraction is the operating principle applied in this project.

Parts of the roof and of the volume are removed in order to create empty spaces and patios. This procedure transforms the existing closed space into a high quality and well-illuminated element that can house comfortable production work-spaces.
