Waste-to-energy plant

Expansion of an existing Waste to Energy Plant, the 40,000 sqm intervention provides, in addition to the new technical volumes for an additional combustion line with its chimney the total re- design of the system access to the plant.
The design is characterized by great attention to the volume insertion into the surrounding environment obtained through a focused use of the colors of the Pavia countryside, the shades of green and brown of the fields combine with the sparkling silver/blue of aluminum-clad portions to refer to the image of the surrounding rice fields.
The chromatic treatment of the chimney is a gradient of green hue that fades from the dark of the base to the very light of the top towards the sky.
