New connection with the University Centre of Fisciano

Project to improve accessibility to the university campuses of Fisciano (University of Salerno) and Baronissi in order to generate a significant change in the current modal split by road to the advantage of collective transport by rail; in addition to pedestrian connections for movement within the campuses.
Starting from the hypothesis of creating an intermodal HUB at the Fisciano Lancusi station, completely restyled, various connection options have been studied using mechanized systems, such as driveless minibuses, integrated with cycle and pedestrian paths in dedicated location in order to guarantee maximum safety and travel speed over a total distance of about 3km.
The project, innovative and highly technological, is an example of excellence in the panorama of transport systems in terms of sustainability.
